Santa’s Coming! Sat 12th Dec (4pm onwards)

 Santa will yet again this year visit every street in Craigmarloch on Saturday the 12 th of December but Rudolph has suggested a different approach this year! Due to it taking up to 5 hours to get round all the streets and disappointing some children who have been too sleepy to wait up, we are going to try and get round a wee bit quicker. Firstly the elves will NOT be knocking at every door. Instead there will be a designated “Santa Stop” in at least every street (there will be more stops in the longer streets) with a time advertised when Rudolph hopes to get there. Hopefully Santa will keep to time this year if he can keep control of the naughty elves. A flyer will be delivered in early December with more details. Here’s hoping this will lead to less disappointment for the children and help mums and dads plan their Saturday better. (Although, we know there are some dads that get very excited too! The young people of Cumbernauld have decided to run a Youth Locality Event in Seafar House on 14th November. It will be from 1.00 till 10.00 pm and will have seminars and workshops on everything from Drama to Drugs and the outcome which the organisers hope is the formation of a Youth Forum for the town which will be able to advise on things and events which will be relevant to youth rather than imposed on young people.
